The procedure for review


The procedure for reviewing of memoir manuscripts were received by the magazine "News of higher educational institutions of the Chernozem region"

 

1. For the purpose of peer review all materials which come to the editorial office are subject to compulsory reviewing.

2. The editor-in-chief and the executive secretary of the magazine determines the article of the magazine's profile and the requirements for registration conformances, send it for review by a specialist (Doctor of Sciences or Candidate of Sciences) who has the closest to the topic scientific specialization. The registration conformances are on the magazine's website on the Internet.

3.The reviewers are notified that those manuscripts that they were sent are the private property of their authors and contain hush-hush information. The reviewers are prohibited making copies of articles. The review realize confidentially.

4. All reviewers are acknowledged experts on the subject of peer-reviewed materials and have publications on peer-reviewed articles in the past 3 years. Reviewers on subjects are:

5. Dates of review are determined by the chief editor.

6. The review includes the following main points:

- The topicality of the presented work

- Characteristics of the object of study

- Quality formulation of work goals and objectives of the study

- The degree of scientific novelty of research

- The practical value of the work

- Educational and methodical value of the study

- The conveyance

- The extent of a readiness of the theme of research

- The structuredness of the work.

7. The review is anonymously. The author can read the text of the review. Violation of anonymity is possible only if the reviewer claims about plagiarism or falsification of the materials contained in the article.

8. If the review contains recommendations for improving and finalizing the articles, the executive secretary of the magazine sends a copy of the review to the author to prepare a reserved version or well-founded refutations of the recommendations. Recycled paper is sent to review again.

9. In case of refusal to publish a copy of the review is sent to the author for familiarization and correction.

10. The editorial staff is obliged to send copies of reviews to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation if the editors have received proper inquiry.

11. The final decision about the publication of the article is accepted by the editorial board and recorded in the minutes of the meeting of the editorial board.

12. After taking a decision on the admission of an article for publication the executive secretary informs the author and specifies the terms of publication. The text of the review is sent to the author.

13. The originals of the review are stored in the publisher and editorial office for 5 years.
